Antonio Brack, former Environment minister passed away

Former Environment minister, Antonio Brack Egg, passed away on Tuesday.

The 74-year-old had been confined in a hospital days prior to his death.
On Wednesday afternoon, family members, friends and former politicians attended the memorial services.

Antonio Brack Egg was the Peru's first-appointed Environment minister. He served from 2008 - 2011.

His death comes after having struggled with disease.

Brack Egg was an ecologist and an expert on biological diversity. He was born in Oxampampa in 1940.
