Ambassador Ana Rosa Valdivieso began duties as
of continued support for the country's accession process as part of her mission.
Valdivieso delivered to Cormann the letter from Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer, informing him of her appointment and the establishment of the Permanent Representation as part of Peru's commitment to advancing towards membership.
The Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) highlighted Ambassador Valdivieso's experience and her knowledge of the accession process.
They also agreed to work closely to strengthen national institutions, promote transparency, and improve the quality of life of Peruvians, the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported via social media.
