During both meetings held on Sunday, the Head of State reviewed the actions being carried out by the aforementioned sectors.
Likewise, the top official coordinated measures aimed at strengthening the country's international agenda and addressing the population's needs.
At her meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister Carlos Espa, she discussed the activities he carried out during his recent trip to Colombia as part of the official events marking Abelardo de la Espriella's swearing-in ceremony, which he attended on behalf of the President.
They also reviewed the progress made in foreign policy.
Likewise, Minister Espa informed the Head of State that the Peruvian Embassy's Consular Section in the Russian Federation assisted two vulnerable young Peruvians and arranged for their repatriation.
The young citizens join two other Peruvian nationals who were assisted by the same consular section in late July.
The official specified that all of them have arrived in Peru and are now with their families.
Meeting with Culture Minister
As part of her working agenda, the President met with Culture Minister Alberto Beingolea.
He briefed her on the actions conducted by his ministry in Junin following the latest earthquakes recorded in said region.
The Cabinet member reported on efforts to restore and protect the affected cultural heritage, including churches located in the impacted areas, as well as coordination carried out to address the damage recorded.
