Diplomat Gloria Lissette Nalvarte presented credentials to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accrediting her as Peru's Ambassador to Ukraine, with concurrent jurisdiction from Poland.
Following the credential presentation ceremony, the Head of State and the diplomat discussed various issues of mutual interest to Peru and Ukraine, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and communication between both countries at the highest level.
Ambassador Nalvarte highlighted the state of diplomatic relations between Peru and Ukraine, established on May 7, 1992.
Likewise, she reaffirmed the positive level of political dialogue achieved by both countries.

Lastly, Ukraine's top official thanked the diplomat for Peru's consistent position condemning Russia's aggression within the framework of international organizations.
He also noted that Ukraine is developing relations with Latin America, adding that his country is willing to further strengthen its ties with Peru.
The ceremony was held at the historic Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv on May 20.
