Copa Libertadores final: Conmebol shares emotional video about host city Lima

15:16 | Lima, Nov. 18.

With less than a week to go until the Copa Libertadores final match between River Plate (Argentina) and Flamengo (Brazil) —at the Ate Monumental Stadium on November 23— the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) shared an emotional video about the principal destinations and customs of Lima —the host city of this breathtaking game.

Via Twitter, the governing body of South American soccer published an audiovisual clip about the Peruvian capital, where the Copa Libertadores final moved to from Santiago because of the social crisis that has shaken the government of Chilean President Sebastian Piñera.

"Welcome to Lima 2019! This is how the Peruvian capital looks like for the final," Conmebol said on its social media channels.

In 2018, South America's biggest soccer match moved to Madrid (Spain) after the occurrence of severe incidents near River Plate's Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires for the second leg of a final, following a 2-2 draw with fierce rivals Boca Juniors in the first leg at La Bombonera.
