Prime Minister Alberto Otarola on Saturday announced that the Government will next week launch a powerful program to fight corruption at the National Anti-Corruption Commission meeting to be led by the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte.

In this sense, the Cabinet chief indicated that one of the axes of the current administration's work plan is the fight against corruption, which will not be denominative.

Instead, decisions will be taken to carry out work in the face of this scourge which affects Peru.

"Next week, the President of the Republic (Dina Boluarte) is going to preside over the National Anti-Corruption Commission, which is chaired by the National Justice Board head, and we are going to relaunch a powerful anti-corruption program at the State," he said in remarks to RPP Noticias.

Likewise, the high-ranking official specified that the Head of State will announce a series of measures which are being worked on to prevent corruption in the public sector.

In addition, Prime Minister Otarola affirmed that there are valuable professionals at various ministries.

Unfortunately, citizens who were not skilled enough had been appointed for public service (by the past president), he said.

Thus, integrity offices at every sector will be strengthened.
