Peru's PM: Government coordinates arrival of 7 million COVID-19 vaccine doses

Prime Minister Guido Bellido on Friday highlighted the success that the fourth Vaccinathon against COVID-19 has been having, as he pointed out that the Government coordinates the arrival of 7 million more doses.

The Ministerial Cabinet head pointed out that all this will make it possible to advance with the immunization of the population against the aforementioned virus.

"(...) the Vaccinathon is a success," Bellido wrote on Twitter.

In the same message, the government's spokesman also stressed that the Government is "coordinating the arrival of 7 million doses to advance the immunization of our people."



Also on Friday, Bellido met with Congress members from parties Alianza para el Progreso, Podemos Peru, and Avanza Pais, 
within the framework of the round of talks held with political groups represented at Parliament.

These meetings are held before the Cabinet's presentation at Congress to request a confidence vote.
