This week, Peruvian President Francisco Sagasti continued to hold virtual working meetings with lawmakers from various parliamentary groups.

The gatherings were attended by legislators representing Fuerza Popular (Popular Force), Acción Popular (Popular Action), Decentralización Democrática (Democratic Decentralization), and Podemos Peru (We can, Peru).

These latest sessions enable the Executive Branch to maintain a direct relationship with parties at Parliament to detail the situation of the country and work on joint initiatives for the benefit of the population.

During the previous session, the top official met with lawmakers from Partido Morado (Purple Party), Frente Amplio (Wide Front), Alianza Para el Progreso (Alliance for Progress), FREPAP (the Agricultural People's Front of Peru), and Somos Peru (We are Peru).

As is known, Mr. Sagasti became President of the Republic on November 17, 2020, to lead a transitional government. His term in office is set to end on July 28, 2021.
