20:00 | Lima, Dec. 21.

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday met with National Agreement Executive-Secretary Max Hernandez. At the event, it was agreed to convene this forum for January 10, 2023.

Following the dialogue held at the Government Palace in Lima, Hernandez reported that this meeting will be the beginning of a great national dialogue of territorial and decentralized scope.

Every institution, which is part of the National Agreement and other invited organizations, will participate in the future event.

This will be the first meeting of the National Agreement to be held during President Boluarte's tenure —within the framework of the government's actions to promote a broad dialogue that contributes to the restoration of social peace in Peru.

The National Agreement is a forum for dialogue and consensus-building made up of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the National Assembly of Regional Governments, the Association of Municipalities of Peru, political parties represented at Congress, and the main civil society organizations present at the national level.
