Peru: Plane carrying compatriots from Israel to arrive this afternoon

The Peruvian Air Force's (FAP) Boeing 737-500 aircraft that transports 25 Peruvian citizens evacuated from Israel will land in Lima this afternoon, the Ministry of Defense has confirmed.

Thus, our compatriots will return to their homeland along with the official delegation led by the
President of the Republic Dina Boluarte.

Earlier, the official airplane made a stopover in Cape Verde —a country located northwest of the African continent— and then in Brazil, where it took off heading to Peru.

The aircraft will land at Air Group No. 8. this afternoon.

As is known,
the plane departed from Rome with 25 Peruvians who were stranded in Israel, among them are older adults who had been sightseeing in the Holy Land.
