Visits to Machu Picchu and 22 protected areas located in regions under extreme and very high alert levels will remain suspended until February 28, in order to comply with the measures decreed by the Government to contain the second wave of COVID-19 in Peru, the

Thus, Sernanp has taken action over the development of tourist activities in protected natural areas.
The regulation also provides that one protected natural area —located in a region under high alert level— will be able to open at 50% capacity, while other three —in a region under moderate alert level— shall operate at 60% capacity.
