Peru FA holds meeting with Andorra counterpart

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio held a bilateral meeting with his Andorran counterpart Maria Ubach in New York City.

In this sense, the officials addressed diverse subjects concerning bilateral relations and the multilateral agenda. 

Likewise, they talked about the 27th Ibero-American Summit to be held in Andorra next year. 

The main theme will be Innovation for Sustainable Development Goal - 2030. Plus, the event will be organized by the European country, which shares the Pro-Tempore Secretariat with the Ibero-American General Secretariat. 

On the other hand, the ministers mentioned the fight against corruption, a priority issue for the Peruvian Government

In this sense, Popolizio thanked the cooperation provided by Andorra regarding the Odebrecht case

Furthermore, both officials agreed to continue working and cooperating on this matter. 

Finally, the Inca country's representative personally invited his Andorran counterpart to participate in the International Conference for Democracy in Venezuela set to take place in Lima on August 6. 

The gathering took place within the framework of the United Nations' High Level Political Forum and the Inca country's presidency in the UN Security Council
