held a working meeting with representatives of transport associations to coordinate actions aimed at ensuring the timely supply of fuel.
"During the meeting, the government agreed to strengthen monitoring and oversight operations across the entire national distribution chain, integrating service stations and wholesalers, with the aim of preventing hoarding and speculation that affect transport operators and citizens," the entity indicated.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted that there is sufficient fuel supply. Thus, there is no reason for an increase in the prices of these products.
"Prices rise when there is scarcity, but that is not the case; there is hoarding, and prices are being speculated," Miralles said at a press conference held today.
