Resolution approving agreement between UN Tourism and Peru made official

The Congress of the Republic has officially enacted the legislative resolution approving the agreement between the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) and the Republic of Peru for hosting the 70th Regional Commission of said organization for the Americas in the city of Lima.

This measure was made official through Legislative Resolution No. 32388, published in the Legal Regulations bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano.
In this regard, the aforementioned agreement is approved through its sole article. It was signed by UN Tourism on May 21 and by the Republic of Peru on May 26.
Thus, the city of Lima will host the 70th meeting of the UN Tourism Regional Commission for the Americas on July 31.
On that date, the seminar "Artificial Intelligence and Tourism in the Americas" is also scheduled to take place.
This seminar aims to provide a platform for dialogue, with the presence of leaders in technology and innovation, as well as experts from the sector, who will examine the transformative potential of AI and new technologies, in order to shape the future of travel and hospitality.
The legislative resolution was signed by Parliament Chairman Eduardo Salhuana and First Vice-Chairwoman Patricia Juarez. It also bears the countersignature of President Dina Boluarte and Prime Minister Eduardo Arana.
