The new Beechcraft King Air 360C ambulance plane of the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) is now at the service of the population.

On Tuesday -its presentation day- the aircraft allowed for transporting two patients from Lambayeque Regional Hospital to the National Institute of Child Health (INSN) in Lima's San Borja district.

The transfer enabled timely care to be provided to a 15-year-old teenager and a newborn, who were in need of urgent treatment.

Both patients arrived in the Peruvian capital, Lima, from the northern city of Chiclayo to continue receiving medical care. The two minors are now being treated by a team of specialists.

Last Tuesday, President Dina Boluarte attended the presentation ceremony of the first Beechcraft King Air 360C plane, acquired by the Peruvian State for aeromedical evacuation, search, rescue, and salvage work at a lower cost than other military aircraft.
