Panettone is the traditional sweet bread made with flour and candied fruit, a staple on every Peruvian Christmas Eve table. It is so popular and widely consumed in Peru that, to date, there are 1,054 registered and active panettone brands nationwide with Indecopi (Peru's National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property).
