The Peruvian Navy ship B.A.P. Union, the most precious gem of the Peruvian Navy, will begin its overseas training voyage (VIEX 2026) on April 17.
Over five months, this imposing sailing ship will visit strategic ports, consolidating the training of Navy cadets and reinforcing Peru's presence worldwide, the
Presidency of the Republic stated on X.
The vessel will depart from Callao Port to visit Curaçao, the United States, Canada, and Ecuador.
After crossing the Panama Canal and docking at ports such as New York and Quebec, the mission will return to national waters in September.
Built entirely in Peru by the Navy Industrial Services (SIMA), it is the largest training ship in the world belonging to a naval institution.
