The SPH stressed that, according to official data, the blocks registering the highest production as of November were: Block 95 (Loreto region), with 13.74 MBPD; Block X (Piura region), with 8.28 MBPD; followed by Block VII (Piura region), with 3.88 MBPD.
On the other hand, the blocks that recorded no production were Block 67 (Loreto) and Block Z-6 (Piura).
Natural gas production
Meanwhile, natural gas production recorded a slight increase, rising from 1,346 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) in October to 1,365 MMCFD last November.
Lastly, the SPH noted that during the month under review, the blocks with the highest growth in natural gas production were Block 88 with 803 MMCFD; Block 56 with 251 MMCFD; and Block 57 with 247 MMCFD, all located in Cusco region.
