Peru Libre's presidential candidate Pedro Castillo on Monday affirmed that the official announcements on his eventual government will be made after the proclamation of results by the National Election Board (JNE).
In this regard, he urged the population not to get caught by surprise with lists and names of possible Cabinet members, which have been circulating recently.
"This is unofficial and speculative information. We will make the corresponding official announcements regarding the Bicentennial government after the proclamation by the
National Election Board (JNE)," he wrote on Twitter.
JNE spokespersons reported that the general resolution proclaiming the results of the presidential runoff election will be issued this week.
Said resolution will be ready after the JNE's plenary session reviews the 10 appeals filed by Fuerza Popular political party against the decentralized proclamations issued by Special Electoral Boards.
