The consolidation of the Free Trade Agreement between Peru and India would enable Peruvian products to access a market of nearly 1.2 billion consumers, the Vice President of Lima's Chamber of Commerce Sandro Fuentes affirmed.
On Thursday, the opening of the Exhibición y Rueda de Negocios Perú-India (Peru-India Leather Industry Exhibition and Roundtable) took place in Lima. It gathered both nations' entrepreneurs.
"This meeting is held before the beginning of the negotiations aimed at reaching an FTA with India, which will definitely bring benefits for the country because it is going to allow us to access a market of 1.2 billion consumers," Fuentes expressed.
Likewise, he specified this event will lead to strengthening relations among the Peruvian and Indian sector's entrepreneurs, which will enable to "dynamize the market" and trade.
