Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez celebrates 10 years of marriage

Peru's most famous tenor Juan Diego Florez on Friday shared his feelings on the occasion of his 10th marriage anniversary.

Thus, Florez expressed his love through a short, but significant message to her wife, former German model Julia Trappe. They have formed a family together and raised two children. 

"Happy 10th anniversary, love of my life!" reads his post on Facebook.

As is known, the couple held one of the most popular wedding ceremonies in Peru's capital city. The religious marriage took place at Lima's Cathedral.


Likewise, it was celebrated by renowned guests, as well as Peruvians who flocked to the Main Square to witness the event.

On that occasion, the tenor shared his happiness by greeting fellow citizens from the Cathedral and the Municipal Palace's balcony. 

45-year-old Florez is considered Peru's most recognized tenor worldwide.

He raised over S/1 million (about US$308,000) at a benefit concert for victims of Coastal El Niño phenomenon floods occurred in early 2017.
