The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, emphasized on Thursday that her government is working so that Peruvian youth can access more opportunities and a better quality of life.

Mrs. Boluarte participated in the inauguration of the Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, held at Lima Convention Center.

Within this framework, the Head of State said it is a source of pride and satisfaction that young people from over 180 countries have come together to discuss issues of world interest.

"From our country, my beloved Peru, we continue working so that our youth, who have countless dreams, can access more opportunities and a better quality of life," she expressed.

The top official said that, for her as Peru's first female President, it is extremely inspiring to see so many young people from different countries, each with their own perspective on life shaped by social, political, and even religious contexts.

"You are all united by a common goal: a better planet, our only home, our Earth. May it be a place where families, regardless of beliefs, ethnicities, or political affiliations, can live together respectfully and peacefully," Mrs. Boluarte stated.

"That is democracy. And your active and free participation in it renews my hope," she added.

In her speech, the President stressed that it is important to work in unity, without corruption, in order to achieve development and well-being for the population.

"What our government has achieved would not have been possible without the commitment and joint work of our regional and local authorities, the Congress of the Republic, the private sector, and, of course, society," Mrs. Boluarte stated.

"In unity and with everyone's support, we are building the foundations for a better present and a promising future," she added.

At the conclusion of her address, the top official acknowledged the strong and serious commitment by the young parliamentarians to the politics of their countries.

"Your voice and your actions are more than necessary to build fairer and more inclusive societies. The power to achieve the major changes the world needs lies in you," she pointed out.
