Just a few hours before Dakar Rally's kick-off in Lima —and in order to take advantage of domestic and foreign tourists' participation— the Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) along with the Country Brand (Marca Peru) section are promoting the nation's main attractions, products, and customs.
Attendees will be able to purchase Peru Country Brand promotional items, make panoramic photos of different destinations across the country, and request travel-related information.
Peru's millenary past is also present in the relaxation zone, which offers free massage sessions —by appointment— at different times of the day.
Additionally, there is a stand for lima bean reading —an ancient mystic art in which people claim to tell the future by reading these legumes.

The Lima-based

The exhibit's admission is free, and some 150,000 people are expected to attend it.
Dakar Village's attractions include drive simulators, large screens, souvenir shops, virtual reality experiences, autograph sessions, and an official vehicle exhibition.
