Peruvian striker Jefferson Farfan is living one of his best moments, as demonstrated by scoring goals at the Russian Premier League.
He is now becoming the key man for
FC Lokomotiv Moscow. Indeed, the 33-year old struck two goals on Monday for his squad's 3-1 victory over FC Tosno, thus accumulating seven goals in five matches.
Farfan broke the tie (19') after making a goal following a pass from teammate Aleksandr Kolomeytsev. In the second half, Lokomotiv's Eder managed to slide the ball into the net (54'). Later, the Peruvian
athlete beat the challenging team with a good header that consolidated the victory (73').
Following this match, the Russian Premier League will take a break thru March.
With 10 games left to be played, FC Lokomotiv holds an advantage of 8 points over Zenit, which stands second in the Russian Table.
FC Lokomotiv Moscow's will next face
OGC Nice in Europa League's knockout stage on February 15.
