Peru's national soccer team on Wednesday started to train focusing on the first two friendly matches —against Croatia and Iceland— out of the five it will face prior to the 2018 World Cup.
Peruvian squad's training sessions kicked off at 3:30 PM (local time) at Lima-based National Sports Village (Videna).
Athletes, called up from the local league's tournament, arrived at the site.
Friendly matches in the U.S.
It must be noted sessions will run thru March 17 at Videna. On the following day,
Peruvian players will travel to Miami.
The Inca athletes —who defend foreign soccer teams— will be waiting for them in the United States.
