Peru's national soccer team on Monday received a pep talk before resuming training sessions, as preparation for its second World Cup match against France.

On this occasion, the national squad took longer than usual to hit the field and start training, which surprised reporters covering the sporting event at Arena Khimki.

Said delay was because the whole team —besides receiving coach Ricardo Gareca's instructions— was given a 25-minute pep talk.

The talk's main aim was for players to overcome their previous defeat against Denmark at the 2018 World Cup Russia, as well as to be focused on their upcoming game with France.

This crucial game will be held at Ekaterinburg Arena on June 21 at 8:00 PM (local time).
