Peru’s national soccer team retained the 11th spot (1125 points) in the latest monthly world ranking published on Thursday by Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
In this sense, the red-white squad is ranked above
Denmark (12th; 1051 points), Mexico (15th; 989), Wales (18th; 953), Italy (19th; 951), and Croatia (20th; 945).
Among South American teams, Peru ranks fourth behind Brazil (2nd; 1431 points), Argentina (5th; 1241), and Chile (9th; 1135).
However, the Inca team surpasses Uruguay (14th; 1018), Colombia (16th; 986), Paraguay (32nd; 773), Venezuela (33rd; 755), Bolivia (59th; 536), and Ecuador (60th; 524).
The list is topped by Germany (1st), followed by Brazil (2nd), Belgium (3rd), Portugal (4th), Argentina (5th), Switzerland (6th), France (7th), Poland (8th), Chile (9th), and Spain (10th).
It must be noted Sweden dropped one place from last month's list and currently ranks 24th.
