The important thing is not to start construction works but to guarantee their completion, with the purpose of putting them at the service of the population, President Martin Vizcarra affirmed Thursday.
While visiting the Inca country's regions, the President has noticed that several works remained unfinished.
Within this framework, the Head of State criticized the fact that the Government has spent millions on unfinished projects —which have gone lost— and are not at the service of the population.
"Let us strive to complete already-started works," he expressed in this sense.
Statements were made as President Vizcarra supervised the construction of a bridge over Chinchipe River.
In addition, the Statesman pointed out he will join efforts with provincial and district
mayors until their last day in office.
Likewise, Peru's top official pledged to continue working hand-in-hand with the ones to be elected this October. In this sense, he urged citizens to make an effort to
elect hardworking, committed, and
honest authorities.
As is known, the Head of State and his ministers constantly travel to regions with the aim of identifying people's needs.
It must be noted the Peruvian leader paid a visit to North-Andean Cajamarca region on Thursday to preside over a Muni-Executive Power meeting.
