President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Monday affirmed there is no cause for a new impeachment motion against him and underlined that said measure —if approved— would generate a huge disorder in Peru.
Via Twitter, the Head of State deemed necessary that the Executive Branch and Congress
work together in favor of the country.
It must be noted a group of legislators from opposition parties announced a new
impeachment motion —on the grounds of moral incapacity— will be filed in the coming days.
The motion needs 26 signatures to begin debate, and it requires 87 (two-thirds) out of 130 votes to pass.
