Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra chaired the Order of Work award ceremony honoring Peruvians who contribute to the welfare of workers across the country.
Likewise, the decoration recognizes efforts to improve labor legislation, employment promotion, job training, and social security.
Monsignor Luis Bambaren and union leader Mario Huaman were two of the awardees.
The
Head of State was joined by Labor and Employment Promotion Minister Christian Sanchez.
The ceremony took place at Lima-based Government Palace.
