Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski meets with opposition leader Keiko Fujimori to address key policies in the Andean country.
Former presidential candidate Fujimori arrived at Lima's Government Palace accompanied by ex-running mate Jose Chlimper at 4:00 PM (local time).
On the other hand, Mr. Kuczynski is joined by First Vice-President Martin Vizcarra.
Dialogue will
comprise matters of security, fight against corruption, economic reactivation and employment generation.
Likewise, both personalities will discuss ways to improve governance and the special powers
granted by Congress.
The audience will be an opportunity to bridge gaps between President Kuczynski's administration and Mrs. Fujimori's opposition party —holding the majority of seats in Congress— in favor of policies the country needs.
It must be noted both Mr. Kuczynski and Mrs. Fujimori
met in Lima last December.
