Peruvians' living conditions will improve if the central, regional, and local governments —as well as the State in general— work together in a coordinated fashion, President Martin Vizcarra affirmed Monday.
"It's possible to improve the living conditions of all Peruvians, if we work together," the statesman expressed.
The President paid a visit to Bellavista in northern San Martin region to oversee completion of the construction of a river defense.
"We are here, the ministers who represent the government, the regional governor, and the mayor —the three levels of government— to solve the population's problems," he added.
Furthermore, President Vizcarra recalled he and the cabinet members are committed to visiting each region, city, and district of the country in order to be in
permanent contact with the population, instead of merely staying at offices.
Sometimes, solutions to problems are complex. Yet, State authorities will work in pursuit of a good solution, the Peruvian leader remarked.
The Head of State also noted
Congress had shown its willingness to collaborate with the Executive Branch so that they look jointly for legal norms to ease investments.
He went on to say the best way to thank the citizens' trust is through efforts, as well as the
commitment that is renewed with all localities such as Bellavista, located in the Peruvian Amazonia.
