Congress' support to the new Ministerial Cabinet will constitute a great contribution to the Inca country, as it will lead to making progress in economic, social, and political fields, among others, Pacific Credit Rating (PCR) Chairman Oscar Jasaui affirmed.

"The relationship with Congress is important," Jasaui expressed.

"It would be a great contribution to the country to grant them (ministers) legislative powers, allowing them to come out of the trap that exists on different areas, such as political, social, and economic (fields)," he added.

It must be noted recently sworn-in Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva on Monday announced he will foster dialogue with all political sectors of Congress, in pursuit of a shared agenda on major issues like education, health, and economy.

According to Villanueva, new President Martin Vizcarra's administration will have to implement reforms, which will require Congress' approval.

Additionally, Jasaui praised the professionalism of newly-appointed Ministers David Tuesta (Economy-Finance) and Daniel Cordova (Production), who —along with other ministers and led by Villanueva— make up the Head of State's first Cabinet.

He went on to tell Andina news agency that this new ministerial team will be differentiated from the previous one by the good relationship with Parliament.

As is known, President Vizcarra swore in 19 State Ministers on Monday afternoon, 10 days after having taken office as Peru's top leader.
