Santa Anita School's Choir and San Alfonso parish Church are the performers of the song Lima will dedicate to Pope Francis during his visit to the capital city.
They will sing "Peregrino de Esperanza" (Pilgrim of Hope). The name and performers of the song were announced on November 26 at Bienvenido Francisco (Welcome
Francisco) contest's grand finale.
The winners were selected from the 10 participants who reached the competition's final stage.
The event was attended by Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani, Apostolic Nuncio Nicola Girasoli, and the Nunciature's Chargé d' Affaires Msgr. Gregorio Bielaszka.
The winning song will be played
in Lima before the highest representative of the Catholic Church on January 21.
