Peru's Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) will join two major roadshows taking place in China and Japan, as well as two other important fairs (ITB China and ILTM Asia) to promote Inca destinations among top Asian markets.

This way, Peru's position as preferred destination is expected to be strengthened, while generating business opportunities.

The first event called 'Tourism Roadshow: Peru as destination in China' will be held on May 8, 10, and 14 in the cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, respectively.

This will allow 15 Peruvian enterprises to meet with Chinese luxury tourism sector representatives, thus establishing contacts and generating business opportunities aimed at travelers interested in living top-level experiences.

Later, as part of the Pacific Alliance, Peru will participate in ITB China —a fair aimed at the tourism industry's commercial chain.

It will run on May 16-18 in Shanghai and feature PromPeru's Tourism Department Director Marisol Acosta, as well as four domestic companies.

Afterwards, the third activity will be held in Tokyo and Osaka (Japan) on May 21 and 23.

In this sense, the aim will be to diversify Inca tourism offer, thus boosting the creation and commercialization of programs aimed at millennials, seniors, and fully independent travelers (FIT) who rely on high purchasing power.

Finally, PromPeru will attend the ILTM Asia Pacific 2018 taking place in Singapore on May 21-24. This fair is specialized in luxury tourism and will bring together representatives from Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong, among others.
