Peru's construction sector likely bounced back in June 2017 and thus reversed a nine-month low, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) projected.
BCR Economic Studies Central Manager Adrian Armas referred to figures signaling a recovery in the non-primary sector.
"There are indicators pointing to a recovery in the non-primary sector, as is the case of construction," he said.
"In fact,
construction-related indicators we are observing in June give room for optimism to see a GDP recovery in that sector," he pointed out.
Fishing boost wearing off
As is known, the Inca nation's fishing sector grew 280.4% in May 2017 from a year earlier, the highest rate over the past 41 months.
