After the Peru-Croatia friendly match was confirmed, coach Ricardo Gareca expressed enthusiasm about facing a high-quality team, which will help the Inca squad prepare for the 2018 World Cup.

"Croatia is a very competitive team. It's full of world-class players," the coach expressed.

In this sense, Gareca praised said arena, one of the few venues at which the Andean squad will play before soccer's most important tournament kicks off in June.

"It will be awesome to play on a big stage like the Hard Rock Stadium. I'm sure our fans will travel from Peru to support us in Miami," the 59-year-old coach said.
