Peru, Chile leaders to meet entrepreneurs in Lima

Peru's President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Chilean counterpart Michelle Bachelet today will meet with businesspeople from both nations at Lima's Torre Tagle Palace, Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters.

The gathering takes place within the framework of the first Peru-Chile Binational Cabinet meeting planned for Friday in the Peruvian capital.

Chilean leader's arrival in Peru is scheduled for 4:00 PM; she will land at Callao's Air Group No. 8 on board the presidential airplane.

President Bachelet will receive corresponding military honors upon arrival, as she is welcomed by Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna, Chilean Ambassador to Peru Roberto Ibarra, Peruvian Ambassador to Chile Jorge Valdez, and State Director-General for Protocol and Ceremony Juan Carlos Gamarra.

Afterwards, at Foreign Affairs Ministry's Hall, President Kuczynski and his Chilean peer will hold an audience with entrepreneurs from Chile and Peru to boost trade ties between the two countries.

The meeting will be attended by Peruvian Ministers Ricardo Luna (Foreign Affairs), Fernando Zavala (Economy and Finance), Eduardo Ferreyros (Foreign Trade and Tourism) and Gonzalo Tamayo (Energy and Mines).

The Chilean delegation includes Ministers Heraldo Muñoz (Foreign Affairs), Luis Felipe Cespedes (Economy, Development and Tourism) and Andres Rebolledo (Energy).

At the end of the day, Peru's top official will host a state dinner to honor Chile's Head of State and her official delegation at Torre Tagle Palace.
