FocusEconomics' Consensus Forecast LatinFocus analysts on Monday projected inflation in Peru will close the year within the Central Reserve Bank's (BCR) 1%-3% target range.
Panelists surveyed expect consumer prices to end 2017 at 2.9%, a 0.1% upwards revision from its March estimate.
However, FocusEconomics maintains its 2.7% inflation forecast for next year.
It is worth noting Peru's annualized inflation stood at 4% in March, up from February's 3.25% rate, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI).
