"At this moment, we are making minor adjustments; in November, that treaty can be signed with the benefits it means for exports and international trade," she added.
"We are (engaged) in negotiations with Indonesia, a country hosting 350 million inhabitants, which is interested in reaching an agreement within the framework of APEC in November," she mentioned.
"The agreement will be signed in November, but reaching a substantial completion is crucial because this agreement has been negotiated for about six years, with a hiatus during the pandemic when travel was restricted. Nevertheless, it is a significant achievement as it will offer many benefits," she explained.
The Cabinet member also reminded citizens that APEC is a forum of 21 economies whose purpose is commercial and economic integration.
"We already have 14 agreements signed with those economies, and soon these will be 16," she stated.
