Kuczynski Godard is under investigation for payments related to financial consulting, and the case involves four investment projects:
- TGP (Transportadora de Gas del Peru) for the Camisea Gas Project, 2003–2005
- Odebrecht for the Olmos Project, 2004–2007
- Odebrecht for the Sur Project, sections 2 and 3, 2005–2012
- Odebrecht for the Vias Nuevas de Lima SAC Project, 2010–2014.
The case also involves the companies Westfield Capital Limited, First Capital Inversiones y Asesorias Limitada, Dorado Asset Management Limitada, and Latin American Enterprise Managers, which will face trial alongside the former Head of State.
According to Judge Chavez Tamariz's ruling, 2,577 pieces of evidence have been admitted.
Additionally, the Prosecutor's Office is seeking a 35-year prison sentence for Kuczynski and his associate, Gerardo Sepulveda, as well as civil reparations totaling nearly US$46.7 million.
Currently, the former top official is under an 18-month travel ban, a measure confirmed by the Third National Criminal Chamber of the Superior National Court (CSN) on August 22.
Kuczynski became President of the Republic in July 2016. PPK was expected to lead the country for a five-year term. However, he resigned in March 2018.
