The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, said on Monday that the Cabinet he leads will be known by the results of its work.

"The government I lead has a team of professional ministers and high-quality technical experts. We have been in office for 20 days, but the members of this Cabinet will be known by their results," he stated.

The Head of State provided these details during the delivery of a first batch of ambulances to be distributed nationwide.

The 28 units, out of a total of 200, will allow faster and more timely emergency response, helping save Peruvian lives.

"Health is a priority, and we are addressing it," he pointed out.

The ambulance delivery ceremony took place at the Government Palace in Lima.

It was attended by Health Minister Carlos Velasco and representatives of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

The first batch will go to regions such as Amazonas, Apurimac, Arequipa, Huancavelica, Junin, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Lima, and San Martin.

This action is implemented under an agreement between the Ministry of Health and UNOPS.
