The result was driven by a 6% increase in average export volumes, as well as a 1.6% rise in the average price of overseas shipments.
The increase in volumes was underpinned by higher sales of cotton garments to the Brazilian market, as well as fine alpaca fiber exports bound for China and Italy.
Between January and October 2025, non-traditional textile exports reached US$1.435 billion, a 6.6% growth compared with the same period last year (US$1.346 billion).
This performance was driven mainly by higher export volumes, which grew 5.7%, and to a lesser extent by price increases, which rose by 0.8%.
