British star Robbie Williams once again gave his fans a unique moment on Friday as they were waiting outside the hotel in Lima's Miraflores district where he had stayed before heading to Jorge Chavez International Airport.
As he left the Belmond hotel, the "Angels" singer promised to return "very, very soon" to reunite with his followers.
"Listen, listen, listen. I'm gonna try to come back very, very soon, OK?, and make it up to you. Yesterday (Thursday) was awful for everybody, but most importantly it was awful for you. I'm sorry we didn't get to have that moment," Williams said.
"I'm gonna promise to you now I will come back and have that moment with you, and I can't wait!" he added amid cheers from his fans.
After sending kisses to them, the British star, wearing a gray tracksuit and a white cap, got into the SUV waiting to take him to the airport.
From there, he and his crew would continue the tour to their next destination, the city of Santiago, Chile.
Robbie Williams performed in Lima last Wednesday. However, his second concert, scheduled for Thursday, was canceled.
Besides, the megastar wore a personalized Peru national soccer team jersey, prompting cheers and applause from the large group of fans who kept chanting his name.
In the coming days, the new date and venue for Robbie Williams' concert, originally scheduled for September 24, will be announced, event promoter One Entertainment reported.
It added that, as of Friday, those who prefer to receive a refund for their tickets may begin the process.
The concert was scheduled for Thursday at Arena 1 Park.
However, it could not go ahead because the venue was closed by the Municipality of San Miguel District after warning about security risks in said area.
