President Balcazar greets Peruvian mothers on their day

The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, extended greetings nationwide on Mother's Day, which is celebrated in Peru on the second Sunday of May.

Via X, the Presidential Office highlighted that Peruvian mothers are an example of love, strength, and dedication.

"Would one give their life for something? Yes. For our mothers. They are the source and reason for dignity and solidarity. They never tire nor falter: they are always there! Even further here and beyond all limits!" reads the greeting signed by the Head of State.

As in several other countries around the world, Mother's Day is celebrated in Peru on the second Sunday of May.

This important occasion mobilizes citizens across the country and underscores the value of the family unit.
