The meeting included reports from the Ministries of Defense; Agrarian Development and Irrigation; Education; Health; Housing, Construction and Sanitation; Transportation and Communications; and Production.
During this event, the ministers outlined the measures adopted to strengthen the Peruvian State's response capacity and address the needs of areas that could be affected.
Before the Cabinet meeting, the President arrived in Santa Eulalia district to inspect the warehouse where the protective structures purchased for ravines vulnerable to landslides are being stored.
During the visit, she announced that her administration will recover and put into use 12 geogrids that had remained in storage for two years by reactivating the project to install them, along with 35 dikes, in ravines and other vulnerable areas of Santa Eulalia district in Huarochiri province.
