Likewise, the minister and the ambassador addressed cooperation in technical-vocational training, including continuing the initiatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) aimed at strengthening capacities and developing human capital in Peru.
In this context, they highlighted the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor-Employment Promotion and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, whose objective is to train human resources for the development of the Peruvian shipbuilding industry.
This reflects the ongoing cooperation between both countries to create specialized employment opportunities and promote the development of strategic sectors in Peru's economy.
Thus, the meeting reaffirmed the shared interest in consolidating political dialogue and expanding bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit.
El Salvador
Foreign Affairs Minister Espa also held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador to Peru, Pablo Caballero, at Torre Tagle Palace.
The talks provided an opportunity to discuss possibilities for exchanging experiences on matters of mutual interest, such as citizen security, the fight against transnational organized crime, and the modernization of prison systems.
"Thus, political dialogue, cooperation, and integration between the two countries will be fostered," the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
The meeting confirmed the growing dynamism of bilateral relations between the two countries, which are approaching their 170th anniversary.
