Peruvian Navy's BAP Union sailing training ship has arrived in Port Royal, Jamaica, as part of the VIEX 2023-2024 training journey abroad for naval cadets.

Via social media on Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, upon arrival, BAP Union was welcomed by Peruvian Ambassador to Jamaica Mario Lopez Chavarri.

Moreover, the event was also attended by local authorities.

It should be noted that Jamaican music and dances were performed as part of the welcome.
