During the ceremony held on Tuesday, Minister Prieto said the agreement was the result of coordinated efforts to foster connectivity, as well as sustainable and inclusive transportation.
The initiative will receive technical support from the European program "Sustainable Business," helping advance public policy development and investments that optimize the use of resources.
"The agreement we signed today is especially significant because it allows us to access high-level technical assistance and move more firmly toward a more efficient transport and communications system prepared for future challenges," the Cabinet member emphasized.
The agreement also includes technological and integration pillars such as promoting satellite connectivity in hard-to-reach areas under the framework of the European Global Gateway initiative.
The signing ceremony was attended by EU Ambassador Jonathan Hatwell, who reaffirmed his commitment to support Peru in this institutional modernization process.
Through this action, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications reaffirmed its commitment to continue fostering strategic partnerships that deliver concrete results benefiting citizens' quality of life.
