Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Wednesday announced that
"Starting Monday, we will be able to transfer infected people who require hospitalization, except those who are seriously ill," Mr. Vizcarra said.
The transfer —he explained— was made taking the necessary measures and posed no risk or danger to Ate district inhabitants.
On this occasion, the President was joined by members of the Council of Ministers and other authorities. The event was held at the Government Palace in Lima.
Wednesday marks the tenth day of mandatory social isolation.
